Sights and activities abound in the area surrounding Long Point Lodge. Within the perimeters of the camp your time can be spent swimming on our sandy beach, canoeing and water-skiing. Hiking in the woods can provide hours of fun with activities such as rock hunting, and picking wild blueberries and raspberries.
Additional activities around the camp include volleyball, horseshoes, badminton and a children's playground. Inside, there's a recreation hall with a T.V., pool table, shuffleboard and ping pong. Of course the main activities are fishing and hunting.
Outside the confines of the camp, there's a wild animal park with moose, bear, buffalo, lions and deer (Earlton Zoo). Church services are available in Elk Lake as is shopping for groceries, beer and liquor in both Elk Lake and Gowganda which are 14 and 12 miles away respectively. Our store carries a supply of groceries and a variety of souvenirs to capture memories of your trip.
There's even a 18 hole golf course less than 1 hour from camp. For the avid sightseer, take in a plane ride at Long Point Airways.
