The remote setting is the ideal place for that special fishing or hunting experience, or a relaxing family vacation. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery as you travel 40 miles of open waterways which abound with Northern Pike, Walleye, Whitefish, Perch and Smallmouth Bass. With the closest neighbor 4 1/2 miles one way, and 9 miles the other way.
Plentiful nature trails offer the opportunity to explore the diverse landscape and snap the perfect photograph of grouse, snowshoe rabbit, lynx, black bear, ducks, geese or moose.
After a successful day of fishing, our screened-in cleaning hut (equipped with table & running water) is available for you convenience.
Hunting
Each year we cater to black bear hunters. We bait areas near camp which can be reached by car or boat. An experienced guide is included to assist your adventure. 302 square mile bear area.
Fishing
Weekly rates and group rates are available. Well maintained new 14′ boats & 15 hp four stroke electric start motor, sub floor, live well and fish finder are available for rent on a weekly basis. Live bait, gas, oil, ice, fishing & hunting licenses may be obtained at the Lodge. Docking facilities is available for your own boat or air plane.
Accommodations
Our fully equipped rustic cottages include 3-piece bath, running water, hot water, bedding, pillows, cooking and eating utensils, fridge, counter top stove lights, and b-b-que. All cottages overlook the lake. Check in time 2:30 p.m. Check out time 10:00 a.m.
